tammy chu's resilience
Recently heard from several people about this film Resilience, a documentary by Tammy Chu on the thousands of children from developing countries who were adopted into the West. There have been documentaries on this subject before, but this film specifically focuses on the stories of the mothers whose children were sent away—the profound loss, broken family ties, and the painful decision that has impacted them for the rest of their lives. It's a side of adoption that's rarely examined. It looks like the project is trying to raise the necessary funds to finish the film. To find out more information, go here.
