I'm told by the good folks at the Phiadelphia Asian American Film Festival that they're sponsoring a solid handful of Asian and Asian American films at Philadelphia Cinefest, including Tze Chun's Children of Invention on March 28, April 4 and 5; and Cao Baoping's The Equation of Love and Death on April 4 and 5. The 2nd Annual Philadelphia Asian American Film Festival is also now accepting submissions for narrative, documentary and short film categories. The early submission deadline is May 8, and the regular deadline is June 13. For more information on submitting your film to the festival, go to the Withoutabox page here. The festival will take place this fall, October 8-11.
