see you at the austin asian american film festival
This is for all my friends in Austin... Just wanted to throw out a reminder about the Austin Asian American Film Festival, which kicks off tonight with a screening of Ed Radtke's Speed of Life and an Opening Night Party at Silhouette Lounge.

I also want to invite you to come out to the discussion panel I'm doing this afternoon with Dr. Nhi Lieu, professor of American Studies at UT Austin: Are You Angry Yet? That's today -- Tuesday, November 12, 2:00pm at the University of Texas, Student Union Theater. Should be a pretty interesting conversation.

And admission is free! Come by, join in on the discussion, and say hello. For more information about the panel, as well as all the other films, parties and programs happening this weekend, visit the Austin Asian American Film Festival website here. See you there.
