wesley du's if I was like you on youtube

Wesley Du's controversial short film, If I Was Like You, is now available for viewing on YouTube. Watch part one and part two. I previously linked to Latoya's review of the film over Racialicious, which sparked a pretty heated discussion in the comments -- though most folks hadn't yet seen the short. Now it's up on the internet for everyone to watch.

I actually viewed a rough cut of this film a while back, and while it definitely needed some technical fine-tuning at the time, I thought it was a really interesting, provocative narrative. Upon a viewing it a second time, I find it even more compelling. It's worth taking a look. It will probably piss you off... but I imagine that's the point. More over at Racialicious here.
