It's official. The third
Harold and Kumar movie,
A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas, will start shooting this summer for a holiday release in 2011 or 2012. According to reports, the movie might even be released in 3-D. Hey, it totally worked for
Avatar:

Of course, there can be no Harold without Kumar. This marks the return of Kal Penn, who put his acting career on hold to
take a job in the White House Office of Public Engagement. They even killed off his character on
House so he could leave the show. It was a huge move (and a considerable pay cut).
But I guess Hollywood came calling again. I don't know if this means his time at the White House is up, or he's just taking an extended vacation to shoot a stoner comedy. Whatever the case, I'm glad this Korean/Indian comedy duo will be reunited once more. In three dimensions, suckas!
New Line hasn't officially announced a director, but when last we heard, co-writers Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg down to do it. Here's the real question: will Neil Patrick Harris be back as himself? He must. More here:
